BMW Turbosteamer

BMW has created a new hybrid powertrain that uses steam power to save fuel and increase the engines performance. The BMW Turbosteamer uses the normal heat generated from a gasoline engine to heat water to 550 degrees. The steam that is produced from the heated water then powers a small steam engine. The Turbosteamer concept will reduce fuel consumption by 15% and increase the vehicles performance by adding about 13hp.
