The Profiles Series Announces Special Edition on Green Building/Environmental Design


The Profiles Series announces the production of a special edition episode of its nationally broadcast television series focusing on the continued emergence of Green Architecture and how this environmentally friendly design concept will impact the lives of American's in this new century.

Executive Producer Wali Waiters says, "We want to educate our viewers on how they can help build a more sustainable future."

With an emphasis on the architects, builders, and organizations pioneering this movement in what is also known as Sustainable Design, this special edition of The Profiles Series will provide viewers with an entertaining and encouraging look at the ways in which people and technologies are changing the architectural landscape, in efforts to nurture a more harmonious balance between progress, and our natural environment, by showcasing the visionaries behind the buildings, and those inhabiting them.

The Profile Series is hosted by Academy Award winner, Lou Gossett, Jr. whose films include "A Raisin in the Sun", "An Officer and a Gentleman", and Tyler Perry's newly released "Daddy's Little Girl". Gossett's previous involvement in organizations like the NAACP, CARE, and the United States Armed Forces adds to his validity and integrity in the causes featured on the series.
